A comprehensive assessment of foot and nails is essential for all patients at high risk for skin conditions, skin breakdown, vascular insufficiencies and loss of protective sensation. Learn to recognize skin and nail conditions and etiology of wounds that are prone to lower leg, foot and nails to enable prompt treatment and reduce risk of loss of limb. Diagnostic screening tools are beneficial to determine peripheral neuropathy and lower arterial vascular disease.
